Written by Bert Granberg,

This page is for compiling notes on the SH-HP database and other related data resources

Notes about the SH_HP database:

In the Street Name field, some streets don't have the accompanying suffix with them, like Center instead of Center St, Forest instead of Forest St, etc.

There aren't always values in the Direction field. It has some null values, 0's, and mis-typed values (B,C,D,M,m). This occurs in about 20% of the records.

Some of the street names associated with the addresses may not be correct. An example is 326 N West Capitol. After some investigation I found that Columbus St forks above 400 N to West Capitol St. The web service geolocator couldn't match 326 N West Capitol, however it did match 326 N Columbus St at 100.

There are also about 82 records that have a PLSS description in the Street Name field instead of an address.
