Dear Utah GIS,
One of the greatest assets to the SWUG community is the ability for GIS practitioners to come together and share their experiences and insight. User presentations make SWUG the great conference that it is. We would love to hear about your applications and projects!

Presentations are invited that address topics of interest to the GIS community. The objective of the conference is to provide GIS-related information and educational opportunities for anyone in government, education, business or the community at large with a stake in GIS data, analysis and processes. Such topics include, but are not limited to:
GIS in Public Health
GIS in Agriculture
GIS in Energy Resources and Utility Management
GIS in Natural Resources and Water Resources
GIS in Education
GIS in Land Use Planning and Growth Management
GIS in Homeland Security and Emergency Response
GIS Project Management and Enterprise Implementation
Software Customization and Extensions
Cadastral and Parcel Mapping
Mobile Computing
GIS on the Web
All presentations that involve cartography, geospatial analysis or application development must involve the use of ESRI products or that of their authorized business partners and developers. SWUG is a user's group conference for GIS professionals who use ESRI software and related products.

(Pre-conference training October 19-20, 2009)

Pueblo Convention Center and the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center in Pueblo, Colorado.

The ESRI Southwest Users Group (SWUG) is comprised of ESRI software users in five states - Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. The conference is held every fall to provide ESRI users a regional event to learn about the latest ESRI technologies and discuss ESRI software-related topics. This year's conference tracts will include energy, natural resources, education, and health topics. Diversity will also be featured in the socials and food; an ode to Pueblo's rich cultural heritage.
