SWUG 2009 Final call for Presentations 2 Months, 4 Weeks ago
Abstract Deadline Extended to Sept 4
Poster and website abstract deadline extended to Sept 30
________________________________________________________________

We've extended the presentation abstract deadline to next Friday, September 4.
Many of you are employed by governments and your work would be helpful to others.
Please consider sharing it. Do you have a GISP? You'll need 40 points to maintain
your certification in the next few years. That won't be easy and you should be
presenting as much as you can. Presenting at SWUG is simple -- presentations are
only 25 minutes long -- and you choose the format. We'll help you fill out the abstract
if you've never done one. Please email us at SWUG Abstracts for help.

Poster and website submissions count, too! You have until September 30 to
submit your abstract. Please visit the Poster webpage for details or email
SWUG Posters. There will be prizes for professionals and students. You have
nothing to lose by entering!

The discounted training offered on October 19 and 20 is filling up. You won't find a
better deal, so sign up today. SWUG Training Details

And don't forget to make your room reservations. The Marriott and Cambria are within
steps of all the conference activities. Take advantage of the special conference rate
at SWUG Accommodations.

Hope to see you in October,
SWUG 2009 Planning Committee
