* the SWReGAP land cover layer replaces an earlier layer that contained polygons that were simplified during the raster to vector conversion process and contained many duplicate polygons. The new layer attempts to more faithfully represent the original raster geometry.The new SWReGap land cover layer does not contain the codes descriptions as an attribute but these codes are available in a lookup table and are also in the metadata under domain information. Alternatively, a SWReGap layer file is available that already contains a join to the lookup table.
