The AGRC will have a statewide coverage of 5 Meter Auto-Correlated DEMs collected during the 2006 NAIP Aerial Photography flight. The webpage: http://gis.utah.gov/content/view/162/156/
These DEM files are in a .asc format and are around 125 mb per 20,000 X 20,000 meter block. This data has a UTM NAD83 meters projection. DEM_5meter_index.zip is a shapefile that can be used to determine what files to download.
New 2 Meter Auto-correlated DEMs
The AGRC has 2 Meter Auto-Correlated DEMs for various areas of the state collected during the 2006 HRO flight. The webpage: http://gis.utah.gov/content/view/163/156/
These DEM files are in a .asc format and are around 10 mb per 2,000 X 2,000 meter blocks. This data has a UTM NAD83 meters projection. DEM_2meter_index.zip is a shapefile that can be used to determine what files to download.
This dataset does not contain the 2 meter DEMs derived from the LiDAR flight. Stay tuned for more info on this….
A statewide hillshade layer is now available from the SGID Image Server. This layer was generated from a 30 meter raster elevation dataset and is useful for displaying terrain as a background layer.
