All feature classes in the U100.Environmental feature dataset that pertain to underground storage tanks, brownfield projects, National Priority List sites, CERCLIS (Superfund) sites, Toxic Release Inventory sites, and Voluntary Cleanup Program sites are being updated in the SGID database server on a nightly basis. The data is provided by Utah DEQ’s Division of Environmental Response and Remediation and was formerly only available through a separate SDE database connection and via an interactive map.
The interactive map displaying this same data can also be viewed and queried from within a web browser. The URL’s are:
A new feature dataset has been created for storing GIS data pertaining to energy resources. New feature classes include: Tar Sands deposits and Oil and Gas Units, Fields, and Wells (including horizontal drilling paths and bottom holes). Oil and Gas Well data are being updated in the SGID database server on a nightly basis. The data is provided by Utah DNR’s Division of Oil, Gas, and Mining.
