 The Utah geospatial community has been engaged in the development of a Strategic Plan for the last half year. The vision is for the Utah Geospatial Infrastructure (UGI) to deliver map-based information and services to citizens, businesses, and government to enhance the safety, economy, environment, and quality of life in Utah, through the collaborative efforts of the Utah geospatial community.
Throughout the strategic planning process, we endeavored to engage the entire Utah geospatial community through facilitated public workshops, small group meetings, surveys, and one on one interviews. Through this iterative process, the vision, definition and goals were developed. Additional detail was added to create the draft Strategic Plan we are distributing at this time.
We need your comments, edits, and impressions of the Plan at this time. We would like to hear from you about content and format, specifics about the vision, definition, and goals, and deletions or additions you suggest to the document.
