The SGID contains a complete statewide coverage of scanned 1:24000 scale (7.5 minute), standard series USGS topographic maps, also known as digital raster graphics (DRGs). AGRC has modified these DRGs so that they are collarless and are georeferenced to the surface of the earth using the UTM Zone 12 North, NAD83 projected coordinate system.
The 1:24K, 1:100K, and 1:250K scale USGS topographic maps are available in mosaiced format using the SGID Image Server's free downloadable client for use in ArcMap and CAD software.
File-based 1:24K DRGs are available for download from the AGRC FTP site are indexed by both quad name and quad number (SGID Q Number), using the links below:
Thanks for the new 250dpi scans. They look great! What happened to the old 1:100K and 1:250K maps that were available on the old site? Are they still available? If so, where are they located?
For the time being, you can download the 1:100K, 1:250K, and 1:500K quads from a staging area of our FTP site (ftp://ftp.agrc.state.ut.us) in the Imagery/MISC/MISC folder.
Not sure if these have been converted to NAD83 yet or not so be careful.
