AGRC has received a new set of 1:24000 Topographic Map (DRG) scanned images from the US Geologic Survey. These scanned map images are approximately 250 dpi (compared to the old vintage scanned at 130 DPI). Several file formats are available:
the standard GeoTIFF format for GIS users without map surround collars
GeoTIFF format images with the map surround collars
GeoPDF format, viewable in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
county-wide GeoTIFF mosaics
These scans will soon be available via ImageServer.
All of the above are, like all data within Utah's State Geographic Information Database (SGID), downloadable free of charge.
