Download USGS Scanned Topographic Maps PDF Print E-mail

Written by AGRC Administrator,

The SGID contains a complete statewide coverage of scanned standard series USGS topographic maps, also known as digital raster graphics (DRGs). AGRC has modified these DRGs so that they are collarless and are georeferenced to the surface of the earth using the UTM Zone 12 North, NAD83 projected coordinate system (excpet where noted).

The 1:24K, 1:100K, and 1:250K scale USGS topographic maps are available in mosaiced format using the SGID Image Server's free downloadable client for use in ArcMap and CAD software.

File-based 1:24K, 1:100K, 1:250K DRGs are available for download from the AGRC FTP site are indexed by both quad name and quad number (SGID Q Number), using the links below:

The new higher resolution 1:24K DRG (USGS Topo) scans are available today. We also have county-wide mosaics at:

8/14/08: The Division of Water Rights has notified AGRC that they have recently consolidated servers and will no longer be serving UTM NAD27-based raster data from their web page. Their Topo Maps and Photo link now goes to the Utah GIS Portal.

How come these show up black in arcmap? The (pqxxx.tif) files I got from water rights were color- Did I unzip 'em wrong or what?
Thanks John
