As part of the Utah GIS Portal registration process, users can indicate an interest in over 40 categories on the Interest Areas tab. If you haven't filled this information out yet or wish to make a change, you can do so by editing your user profile.
The "User Lists" button on the User Menu now links to a the User List web page that allows you to display all of the users who have indicated an interest in any of these categories. The drop down menu in the upper right corner, which defaults to "Portal Members List," can be changed to display the query results for any of the Interest Area categories.
Note, You must be a registered user and logged in to see the GIS Portal's User Lists.
The GIS Portal User Profile page allows users to maintain their own basic contact information and to communicate this to other registered users.
We've updated User Profile page and it now allows users to:
Be a member of UGIC (Membership & Subscriptions Tab)
Subscribe to GIS mailing lists (Membership & Subscriptions Tab)
Catalog professional interest areas (Interests Tab)
Specify category of eligibility for UGIC elections (User Tab, Sector)
Add basic locational info (UTM Coords) just for kicks.
To update your User Profile: Login using your registered username and password. Then, click the My User Page button on the Registered User Menu, and then click the Edit button above your avatar photo.
