At the Utah Geospatial Resource Center (UGRC), we strive to keep the State Geographic Information Datasource (SGID) as accurate as possible. However, as Utah changes and grows, sometimes our data needs a correction or update.

To make reporting data issues easier, we’ve launched a streamlined Data Feedback Form, opens in a new tab. You guessed right, it’s a Survey123 form!

If you see an issue, let us know

Whether it’s a misplaced address point, a misspelled street name, a missing park, a boundary discrepancy, or something else, you can now report it within a minute or two. Here’s the information we need to resolve most issues:

  • What data layer has the issue? (Road, Parks Local, Municipal Boundaries, etc.)
  • Where is the issue located? (Click on the map to drop a pin)
  • What data source contained the issue? (ArcGIS Online service, Hub site download, Opensgid, etc.)
  • Describe the issue and what needs to be fixed
  • Optionally, attached a photo, document, or screenshot

Please keep in mind that if the error is in a dataset that we aggregate from the counties, we may need to work with the county to get it corrected in their source data. Thanks for your inputs, we look forward to hearing from you and keeping our data accurate and up-to-date!
